项目管理是管理学的一个分支学科，主要研究在项目活动中如何运用专门的知识、技能、工具和方法，使项目能够在有限资源限定条件下，实现或超过设定的需求和期望的过程。项目管理理论与实务是会计专业硕士研究生的一门重要的核心课程，本课程结合最新版《PMBOK指南》，从实践的角度通过大量事例解释概念、技能，说明如何技术性地运用这些知识进行项目管理。通过本课程教学，使学生能够自主剖析项目生命周期各阶段的管理要点，熟练掌握项目经理、项目团队的职责和作用，具备研究和分析有效组织与沟通的各种方法，解决实际中遇到的各类项目管理问题。

Project management is an essential skill-set for many careers and in many contexts in our lives. Introduction to Project Management is an ideal starting point if you need to manage projects at work or at home, while not necessarily being a formally trained project manager. In the course, we will show you practical ways to explore and understandthegoals from the outset oftheproject, and to consider all the factors that may affect its execution. Step by step you will learn how to plan, scope, schedule, cost and manage your project from beginning to end. Since every project relies on the people who are delivering it, the course also enables you to explore how you can effectively communicate, manage people and employ leadership skills to successfully deliver your own project. In Project Management, you will learn practical ways to use project management skills, whether your project is large or small.
